Compassion, Understanding, and Resources for Dementia Care Partners

Caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia can be challenging, but you don’t have to navigate the journey alone. Celebration Villa of Altoona, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Pennsylvania, hosts a monthly Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group designed to provide encouragement, education, and connection. Participants can share experiences, discuss challenges, learn coping strategies, and discover valuable community resources in a welcoming and understanding environment. Whether you are a caregiver, family member, or care partner, this support group offers a safe space to connect with others who truly understand.

Regardless how busy the staff is with giving care to the residents they always have time to stop and speak with the residents or their families.
